Since this plan would not result in the privatization of public resources, unlike the Republican alternative, it must be no good.

But now the DEMs have jumped the gun and proposed a package to do just that.
So, how will he and his âalternative factsâ groupies weasel around to say ânoâ on something he promised to do, just 'cause it came from the Dems?? And what new âalternative factsâ will they base their displeasure on?? 'cause you know they gotta kill it. But how to do it while not losing faceâŚtherein lies the rub.

Next, they should introduce single-payer healthcare to replace Obamacare. This actually has wide public support and would be the Democratâs alternative to any replacement plan the Republicans offer.
Not a bad idea. Pre-empt every GOP move by introducing a contrasting, better option from the left side of the aisle.

Good idea, but it will be DOA in the Republican Congress. What Democrats need to do, however, is not to just let it die after one press conference. Keep pushing for the plan. Keep using it as a benchmark to measure the Republican subsidize-the-rich so-called infrastructure proposals. Keep showing how the Democratsâ plans would help the nation while creating jobs. In other words, keep fighting for it.
And make the move that the Dems always seem to forget - they need to call all of the major news outlets and ask to come on the shows to announce their proposals and start âthe sellâ. The more people on the most networks, the better. Get on the Sunday shows, get on the evening shows, get out there in front of the 'pubs! I continue to be disappointed that most shows bring on only 'pubs and their spokesliars. Now is the time for the Dems to grab the playbook and work it!
Maybe couple it with Single-Payer and a few other common-sense ideas and offer to make a New Deal with the American people in 2018. 
Sorta like those âplatformâ thingies I keep hearing about.
But the new pissident has the solution for that - âfinish earlyâ means forced overtime and weekends, âunder budgetâ means just donât pay the contractors!
