KY democrats are not hitting the right nail. There is an audio (or video) of MacConnell promising wealthy donor tobasically shut down the government. I believe this is more important than a corrupt campaign manager. This looks like “aqua budda” all over again.

Benton left the Ron Paul’s campaign and went over to the Romney campaign in search of money in 2012. He is a crook who ran Rand Paul’s senate campaign in 2010.

The guy joined Ron Paul’s campaign in 2007 as spokesman, met, courted and married his granddaughter in 2008 and never looked back. Any examination of his salaries, expenses and payoffs to other crooks during that time is revealing. Mitch is dirty enough by himself.

Unfortunately, in the clip McConnell’s saying he’d basically shutdown the government to thwart EPA actions. That doesn’t even remotely hurt him in KY, a state where one of the most popular license plates is the idiotic “Friends of Coal” plate. She might be able to run such an ad in Louisville and Lexington but it would be a pro-McConnell ad everywhere else.

Unfortunately, repub base voters vote based on ideology and not what is good for the community as a whole. The Texas governor race is another example.

Actually the repub base probably believes their ideology is good for the community as a whole. They are wrong, but Democrats do little to talk them down from their belief.
