The White House attempts will continue without the Giuliani Trip. The House needs to address this on the Oversight and Judiciary Committees. Because Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell will wield the Large Kielbasa Kabosh on any Senate inquiries.

The US is sending a Patriot missile-defence system to the Middle East amid escalating tensions with Iran.
A warship, USS Arlington, with amphibious vehicles and aircraft on board, will also join the USS Abraham Lincoln strike group in the Gulf.
And US B-52 bombers have arrived at a base in Qatar, the Pentagon said.
The US said the moves were a response to a possible threat to US forces in the region by Iran, without specifying. Iran dismissed the claim as nonsense.
Tehran has described the deployments as “psychological warfare” aimed at intimidating the country.

Most assuredly. Convenient timing for him, all this impeachment talk is annoying, nothing like a nice little war with Iran to brush that stuff off the headlines.
But this whole doing stuff on a shoe-string means that we’ve got thousands of troops and support contractors in harm’s way.

My guess/hope is that people ranging from Merkel to Kerry to Obama to Sherman to Hillary are on telephone calls to Irani leaders.

Naw, looks like it was one of the staged ones. Those were quite popular for a while at fairs, have the centerpiece being a staged head-on collision, brings out the crowds. Sad end for many beautiful old steam locomotives.

Rudy better be damn careful or he’ll get a strongly worded letter from Democrats. It might then escalate to Democrats saying they’re considering maybe getting on the TV and criticizing his plans to collude with foreign governments. After that, who knows, Rudy might even get a subpoena that the Democrats would sincerely appreciate he not ignore.
