Discussion for article #228985
“I apologize for my inappropriate and offensive comments, which do not reflect me or my values or the values of this campaign. We value the support from all San Diegans in this election,” Knepper said in a statement.
But they do represent your values and the values of the campaign. They reflect your values because you wrote them, and they represented the values of the campaign because you weren’t fired when you initially wrote them.
Bagger, puh-leeze!
Message sent, message received, apology lodged, rinse, repeat.
Inadequate. Fire him or take the blame yourself (preferably both, asshole).

Yeah, right. His boss is on video pledging allegiance to the Tea Party, and in a campaign ad says “it couldn’t be farther from the truth.” Hell, he gives politicians a bad (worse) name.
Wait! What? We’re STILL not getting the negro vote?!?
How can that be?
You gotta admit, he had a good point. Why else would an African American be anywhere near a Republican campaign event?
I don’t agree that this was offensive to anyone. What is offensive about saying an African-American is more likely to be a Dem supporter than a GOP supporter?
Instead, it was actually a blatant admission that young people and African-Americans have nothing to gain from Republican policies. That is how they should be running with this, not demanding some sort of apology.
He said “Blah People”. I heard him. You can take my word for it.

The "they’ in question demanding an apology are a group of black conservative Repubicans who are trying to convince themselves that they are valued in the GOTP.
I’m a tracker. I’m white. Fuck you.
Because, obviously, young people and black people are the enemy.
Wow.
And the little Teabagger corporate pimp is winning. Go figure.
Better yet, help out Scott Peters if you can. He is a good Congressman who has done a lot for San Diego and has opposed the Tea Party in the House.
The dumbing down of America is having its desired effect.
