Discussion for article #234071

This lady is a democrat? I bet Diane has a commercial email too.

She did address it. She asked state to turn over her emails. How more clear can she be?? Senator Feinstein always has republican’s backs.

Democrats are so bad at politics. Why aren’t they rallying around her and pointing out that Colin Powell did the same damn thing? So did Jeb Bush as governor. This sanctimonious BS from Republicans is just tiring, but now I have to hear it from Democrats too?

And how “private” is a private email address if it’s your PRIMARY email address? Did NO ONE ever get any emails from Hillary during her time as Secretary of State? How are they just NOW finding out that she had a personal email address if none of her emails were from a .GOV domain? This whole thing is just so stupid.

Simply state that she will realize all her personal emails as soon as the GOP candidates release theirs.
Repeat, repeat, repeat that statement until even the corporate media “gets it”.

You can always count on Dianne Feinstein to parrot Republican talking points on Sunday morning TV.
It’s like Joe Lieberman never left.

Dianne must be coming up for reelection.

It did not hurt Romney when he never released his tax returns - oh ya Obama kicked his butt -

It’s not a problem that she used a personal address, as we’ve seen, a lot of people in government have used person email addresses so it wouldn’t have raised any eyebrows at the time. Also, many email programs just show the person’s name in the email header, not their entire email address, so the receiver may not notice what account the email is from, just who the email is from.

Yes, I do agree that the whole thing is just so stupid, but that’s because it’s a manufactured controversy and Hillary’s going to need to get used to handling these because there will be a manufactured controvery every week.

Tired of seeing these same ass tired faces from either party.Carrerer politicians ALL.

On a side note, I do have to say Dianne looks pretty good for 81.

Look: I agree that this e-mail stuff isn’t nothing, nor is it the end of Hillary’s campaign.

But Dianne Feinstein is Exhibit A of the Dems mind-numbing inability to unite and fight off Republicans as a group. You think a single effing Republican would say something similar about their leading candidate, if the shoe was on the other foot?

No, no, no.

Dianne Feinstein is one of the reasons Dems can’t have nice things.

I hope she retires. At this point, with this comment, and the stupid Netanyahu stunt? She’s not helping.

That settles it. If Feinstein says she needs to “address the controversy,” then Hillary Clinton must remain mum. It’s always a safe bet to do the opposite of what the GOP’s favorite tool advises.

How about the good Senator DEFEND her use of the private email account as she MUST know that EVERY Secretary of State before John Kerry used private email in their communications…once again f-ing cowardly Democrats allow the Republican frame of an issue to take hold in the public’s mind. You’re NOT a non-partisan Feinstein, act like a Democrat or leave office and let someone who will defend their fellow Democrats.

Oh, fuck you, DiFi, you walking sarcophagus.

To be fair, she was basically on the right side on Netanyahu (she attended, but was pretty harsh about his speech as a political ploy and as sabotaging the talks with Iran). But as to the rest of your comment, I couldn’t agree more, or more disgustedly.

Hey, Di, while you’re spouting your righteousness, how about addressing the corruption of both yourself and your husband? I wish Hillary would shove THAT right up DiFi’s ass. She doesn’t need any support from Feinstein to win in 2016, but if DiFI thinks she can keep trashing Dems and siding with the crazies, then she should retire now and start looking at retirement communities, because she will not be re-elected. She doesn’t have the dead bodies of Harvey Milk and George Moscone to build her political career upon anymore.

Is Feinstein deaf? Hillary has already given them up and is basically saying, OK-here they are again.

The last thing that Hillary should do, is to start letting the carnival barkers call the shots. She is under no obligation to respond and just for shits and giggles, she should send an email to all of the hecklers with a please donate button so that we can stop Republican obstruction that has blocked the creation of this law and many other sensible laws for years.
