Discussion for article #238881
I don’t care what party they are in, if a politician is corrupt, get the bum out of office.
Was just about to say the same.
Good riddance.
Here is a bit more about what the indictments actually cover.
Seems like he has been wallowing in the mud for quite some time.
While I am glad that they are cleaning out the corrupt within the Democratic Party…could they also do the same thing with the Republican Party…maybe investigate and indict Justice Thomas or Scalia?
We don’t need worthless SOB’s like this. Indict him and take him off the table.
You might be right.
But don’t you think we should wait until he’s been convicted before we crucify him?
Nevertheless, it’s time for some Housecleaning! Too bad it is never wide and deep enough.
No doubt you’re correct. However, did you read the Philly TV station’s story? I did.
“Congressman Fattah and his associates embarked on a wide-ranging
conspiracy involving bribery, concealment of unlawful campaign
contributions and theft of charitable and federal funds to advance their
own personal interests,” Assistant Attorney General Caldwell said in a
news release from the Justice Department. “When elected officials betray
the trust and confidence placed in them by the public, the department
will do everything we can to ensure that they are held accountable.”
GOOD!!
That’s the biggest difference between the 2 parties.
The Dems let the law deal with those of their party that commit crimes.
The Republicans give them plum assignments.
Yes. And as a black Dem being investigated by a Justice Department headed-up by a black Attorney General, it should shut-up the right about “judicial and criminal favoritism.”
“Without fear or favor”—how you know you have an actual justice department.
Nah. This guy has pre-drilled holes in his appendages.
I wouldn’t rush to judgment here. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. We should take a wait and see on this. If he is guilty than democrats will more than likely ask him to step down.
I see prison in this man’s future…
Hahahahaha that’s going to happen.
Good. He will have his day I court and if he is found guilty, lock his ass up.
Guilt or no, this particular type of wink and nod money machine is just the flip side of the PAC, insider, junk book, speaking tour, make-JEB-a-leader machine that pretends to inhabit the sunlight…
Now how about dealing with those preachers who are campaigning from the pulpit - take away their tax exempt status if they want to campaign.
