I’m sure that Congressman Chaffetz will get right on that…just as soon as he’s done investigating Hillary’s use of the wrong email address. That might take a while.

Chaffetz will start his investigation of Trump’s Blind Trust as soon as he finishes his investigations of HRC’s email, the Clinton Foundation, and Benghazi redux. Somewhere between the second Tuesday of next week and the twelfth of never.
I’ll say it again: The only thing “blind” about Drumpf’s Blind Trust are the people who believe it exists. That’s why it’s called Blind Trust. It’s akin to Blind Faith for Assholes.

The President and Vice-President are not required by law to put their assets into a blind trust while in office. Going at Trump from this angle is fruitless save for the harassment factor.

recommendations concerning any particular governmental matter in which that official,
or one closely associated with the official, has a personal “financial interest.”4 That is,
federal officials in the executive branch of Government, other than the President or Vice

Donald Trump could become president of the United States and still keep his day job as chairman of the Trump Organization and impresario of all things Trump-branded. He could even promote policies that advance his business interests.
Historically, presidents have gone to great lengths to avoid these conflicts of interest, but there’s no law requiring them to do so. And Trump has said little about how he would separate his economic interests from his presidential responsibilities. When pressed, he has stated that he might hand control over to family members, but during his run for office he has funneled campaign money to his own companies and tweeted that his presidential prominence might give new life to the allegedly-fraudulent Trump University.
Yes, with someone like Trump there is an inherent problem. Nevertheless, he still has a choice. Assuming that the only way to minimize the conflict of interest is to have his children be out of work for 4-8 years he has a choice between the benefits for his children and benefit for his country. I’m sure he will choose his children (and himself) over the country.
If that family really wanted to benefit the country, his children could find something to do for a few years. Starting with volunteering at soup kitchens or working at real charities. But we know they won’t do that.
