This law just follows in well worn NC legislative moves. Example: a small town elected to start their own cable business because rates by national companies were outrageous. Town built the net providing better service for both internet and TV at 1/3 the rate. So what did State Legislature do, why, outlaw any other town from doing the same.

It was loaded with lots of stuff besides the bathroom issue. Itās an astonishing piece of legislation, given that it went from concept to a signed bill in just 12 hours.

Fuck you and step aside so that a real Democrat can take your seat. This law went for being revealed to being signed by the governor in 12 hours. You are forever shamed for voting for it. Did you even know that you were voting to prevent municipalities from raising the minimum wage? Did you even know you were voting to keep all civil rights complaints out of the state courts? There is no way you even read this shit show before you voted for it. Get out!

Sir, the best you could do at this juncture is find a solid Democratic replacement and assist them in every manner possible to be elected and hit the ground running. Richardson is going to find himself very lonely when the legislature reconvenes.
Those who are proud of their hate and bigotry will call him a wimp, and the Democrats who voted against this travesty will shun him as the political leper heās made himself.
