Dude, when you’re playing poker you don’t blurt out your hand. Let Schiff do the talking and learn.

According to past statements by both Flynn and Drumpf, innocent people don’t seek immunity. At least when the people seeking immunity are aides to Hillary Clinton.

I would have said that immunity would depend on who he could offer up, higher up at the White House.

I would say that, unless he can provide evidence taking down Trump, Pence and the whole rotten administration, that he shouldn’t get immunity.

While I agree, the thought of Paul Ryan as president makes me shudder.

Eh. I don’t think lawmakers should be commenting on it in this way. Even though we all suspect this to be the case–it’s best to let the evidence sway public opinion. . . . .And, generally, in terms of criminal justice, we shouldn’t be encouraging investigators or prosecutors to make overly speculative commentaries on guilt or innocence–nor should we want them to editorialize on cases (a la Comey).

Get him under oath.

Immunity from what? What Sally Yates is going to testify to?

I hope that last week’s rumors were true and Flynn’s discussions with the FBI happened then, and are settled. If so, this announcement of Flynn seeing immunity might be fishing for others who see an oppty to get in on the ground floor of The Bigly Short.

I got a small crush on Swalwell during last week’s house intel hearing but I have to admit that him using Flynn’s own words against him just upped the ante!

This whole Flynn Seeks Immunity thing could turn out to be a disappointment. If he had something really significant, seems he’d have quietly cut a deal with the FBI…and the FBI would have been interested in cutting a deal with him.

hahah… did you already see Schiff’s statement?
Once Yates testifies, Schiff says, we will know why Flynn wants immunity.

We have to wind the Wayback Machine all the way to 2016 to find those statements

My suspicion is that President Trump and Michael Flynn recruited Mike Pence and Paul Ryan to work to support President Putin, to provide information to Russian intelligence and to promote Russian policies towards Ukraine, NATO, Europe. Elaine Chao was given a government job to get Mitch McConnell to look the other way.

I think it would be worth granting Mike Flynn immunity if his testimony can help implicates, clarify and assists in securing convictions for the role of Trump, Pence and Ryan in rigging the election and for compromising national security.

Mike Flynn is should be interrogated without immunity and all of his US contacts in the administration and elsewhere should be subject to extreme vetting. It is critical to dismantle Russian intelligence infiltration of the state and national Republican parties, our intelligence agencies and our media companies.

  1. There’s a difference between “use immunity” and immunity from prosecution.
  2. I’m dubious of Flynn actually having any useful information.

Remember, it was Manafort who lied to PeePee (then known as HO) about his plane needed maintenance in order to keep PeePee in Indiana and force him to meet with Pence.

So Manafort picked Pence even though PeePee wanted Christie. Why would Manafort want Pence?

Hmm…

I think both Pence and Ryan are involved. As Chair of the Convention, Ryan extended invitations to the Russian Ambassador and Russian intelligence. Many are saying the Russians met with Pence, Ryan, Kushner, Flynn, Sessions and the top leadership in Cleveland.
