Discussion: Debbie Wasserman Schultz Will Not Gavel In The Democratic Convention

Finally! It’s almost like she can’t take a “hint.” She’s so fixated on being front and center that she had to be dragged kicking and screaming to resign and then give up the gavel.

Good. Now you need to embrace the fact you’ve become toxic and remove yourself from anything to do with the Clinton campaign.

Good. She’s doing what’s best for the party and what’s best for the election.

Others take note.

That’s it in a nutshell.

Also add: “She is acting like a responsible adult, doing what is best for majority, not just her own ego and self interest.”

“I stepped down the other day because I wanted to make sure that having brought us to this momentous day and to Philadelphia and planned the convention that is going to be the best one that we’ve ever had in our party’s history, that this needs to be all about making sure that everyone knows that Hillary Clinton would make the best president,”
Good lord, she can’t stop tooting her own horn and patting herself on the back as she is being flushed down the toilet. Good riddance. Now let the party unity commence.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), who will step down as chair of the Democratic National Committee following the convention, will no longer gavel in the convention on Monday, the Sun Sentinel reported.

Good decision. With Sanders supporters in the hall the Philadelphia homicide squad and various EMS responders have been granted a reprieve.

That presumes she recognized the situation and did it of her own accord. I find that highly doubtful. Seems to me she was convinced to step aside, and that was prudent.

She’s too toxic. That video would be running 24/7 from now to election day on every news outlet.

But far be it from me to offer advice to the Democratic Party. They have this all figured out.

Mitch McConnell, senate majority leader, got booed at the RNC convention. How long did that run on TV? Let’s not get carried away. Even the Cruz story is old news. The media has new things to whip up every day.

Wise decision, I vote for Michelle or Nancy or even possibly Bernie. That would show he is truly now a Democrat and he has been very good about this email issue. IMHO.

A) she was always the issue.and it didn’t matter what the topic was

B) Bernie didn’t win and they are coming to grips with that

C) whoever has that gavel is considered the man and will be seen as a useful target.

Are you talking about Debbie or Bernie? Oh…I see you used “she” there. Sorry for the confusion.

Even when Sanders himself called on his supporters Monday morning to vote for Clinton, he was met with boos.

Let that sink in for a moment.

I feel better now. I’d feel even better if Hillary asked that her resignation be effective immediately…but as long as she stays in hiding, I’ll live.
