And the Dem’s are backing who? Anyone? Bueller?
the second graph says “Jerry Tarkanian.” The former coach is deceased. This is his son, Danny.
So much winning…
Other news sources all say Danny.
They’d have a better chance running Jerry.
Good. And in Arizona, the psychopath osteopath Kelli Ward is taking on Jeff Flake. If popcorn were not so 2009, I’d be ordering some.
One point: Jacky Rosen is a D, not an R as stated.
Maybe I’m wrong but I think running as a trump supporter rather than a conservative is a losing proposition.
Here’s what Heller is banking on:
Fresh off Sen. Dean Heller’s vote for the so-called skinny Obamacare repeal, a SuperPAC linked to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says it will spend seven figures to defend him — including fending off any primary challenge.
But I don’t think it will be enough. Nevadans don’t like him and he’ll emerge from the primaries battered.
Though the image of a zombie MAGA! candidate - is somehow fitting. But yes, this is refering to Danny Tarkanian, the son.
I just ran with the name on the Fox News tweet thingy at bottom of article. (Totally a first, I’ll admit.)
Of course Tarkanian got a pass. Rome must have it’s gladiators!
I assume you’re talking about @DannyTarkanian, the perpetual candidate, not his father the basketball coach?
Catching that Trump wave at just the right time, too.
Nice going, Dean. You can spend all that Russian Pac money you received on stopping Tarkanian.
Let the circular firing squad begin. Bring on the popcorn.
Man oh man. Heller is almost like Wile E Coyote for a total lack of strategy that borders on insanity. I doubt Tarkanian will get anywhere; if he couldn’t stop Rosen at the House, I doubt his appeal will be stronger (against an incumbent) at the Senate. But, as khyber900 said, Heller’s going to have to spend some of that six figure PAC money promised to him by Adelson and Wynn. And “Tark” will drag Heller as much as he can. That’s gonna leave a mark.
By the way, I heard on Twitter that Rosen is already running ads against Heller on the 'net.
He may not emerge from the primaries. But yes, if he does, he will be even weaker than he is now. Which is pretty damn weak.
The million dollars McConnell gave him was more of amends for the million dollars Trump’s PAC dumped against him during the health care debate. And no, it probably won’t be enough. But there will be more money flowing his way if he emerges from the primary.
I"m sure Danny will be just as reasonable and rational as his father…quick, someone get him a chair to throw and a towel to bite on!
