Plus interest and penalties.

Thanks mayor. Trump and his family has gotten kind of a pass since the Beame administration.

I applaud this move. I hope he doesn’t stop there. If Trump has done this, it’s likely there are others in the New York real estate menagerie who have done similar things. This is an opportunity to clip the wings of a whole gaggle of douchebags.

Amen. This kind of fraud really irks my elderly Dad. He identifies as just a hard-working man who tried to save a little money to leave his kids and grandkids - it’s his source of pride. And yet, he has to worry that any gift over $15,000 generates a tax which he begrudgingly pays. When he read about the Romney boys each getting $20 million via stocks which were undervalued (probably not illegal but a move only available to those who can afford expensive tax attorneys) or this kind of frequent, untaxed money which Trump received from his father, my Dad just seethes. I’d be surprised that some middle-class Republicans out there don’t find this tax avoidance a bit grating (whether they admit it or not).

Compounded daily or hourly?

Don’t limit yourself to Toadglans, Bill. You’ve got a whole family to go after.

P.S. America’s premiere jaundice model’s sister should be removed from the Federal bench immediately.

May the tax bill come to $1 more than total liquidation of assets and forfeiture of bank accounts.

Fingers crossed.

Would that whole gaggle of douchebags’ last name start with K?

President Donald Trump and his siblings could owe New York state more than $400 million in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties based on the New York Times report that their parents handed down more than $1 billion worth of real estate and cash.

And because Toadglans is a trustee of his parent’s estate he’ll owe a bigger share. I wonder if it will equal the amount of money he stole from his siblings?

If he’s part of the gaggle, by all means. However, I was speaking more to the corruption-in-plain-sight players in the New York real estate game. I’m sure all big cities have these types of people. The blatant, explicit flaunting of the law in their pursuit of wealth damages many lives. I would love to see one city get a handle on these people and bring them to heel. I know, they may say I’m a dreamer. I’m not the only one.

There’s been some speculation that the Trump Organization, taken as a whole, is already underwater. Older projects are leveraged to the hilt, and have been propped up by income from newer schemes, most of which involve licensing deals, with little or no liquidation value, or laundering of oligarch money, which has probably come to an end (too much attention). A nice, whopping tax bill could force a reckoning.

Tax evasion is how the finally nailed Al Capone. If it was good enough for “Scarface”…

I’ve had the same reaction to the recent prosecutions of lobbyists who have failed to register as agents of a foreign government. I’ll bet that if you shot an arrow down K St, you’d hit several dozen people who fall into the same category, irrespective of political leanings. Go after all of them.

Maybe his proud gang of Deplorables will start a GoFundMe page for him.

Well, at least Whiny got Russia off the front page.

I read ‘he has to worry that any grift over $15,000…’ and thought, why is he saying this about his father? I think I’ve been spending too much time on these comment boards.

Too bad Donald already used the lamentation about how they got “Alphonse” Capone when he was whining about Manafort…before Manafort flipped…He will be the first President of the United States to say, “They only got me because of the tax evasion…”

Kimmel talks to Donald’s dad about it.
