It certainly didn’t work with Iran, but I hope it doesn’t take some crazed, populist Saudi cleric to overthrow his government and take a bunch of hostages, to teach us once and for all that no faction among the lot of them is worthier than the others, of American propping up with logistics and armaments.
She added that such “terrible acts reported in recent weeks are alien to our culture and DNA.”
What do you say in response to such an absurd statement? “Apology accepted?”
