Discussion: David Koch Retires From Koch Brothers' Business, Political Network

Eh, just die already. That works for me.

I got it…Cake for the entire country. This prick can afford it. One piece for every man, woman and child in the United States. And don’t skimp on the ice cream either.

No love lost with this news. The Koch Brothers are, and always have been antithetical to the best interests of this nation. They are prolific motivators, but their message leads people down the wrong rabbit hole. So the Coyahoga was so polluted it caught fire. All of the chemicals that were dumped in that river burned off. What’s the problem? People got rich in the meantime. That’s prosperity.

“Democrats have demonized the Koch brothers for their outsized influence in conservative politics over the last decade.”

oh AP, you scalliwags you
try:
Democrats recognize the outsize influence the Koch brothers have had over the last decade.

which is pretty neutral, but doesn’t make the dems look like hysterical fault-finders, but, you are AP, and the news source, so I must not question…

Right, Chuck. Didn’t you sue your brother David in a futile attempt to control the entirety of your father’s inheritance for your own profit?

Democrats have demonized the Koch brothers for their outsized influence in conservative politics over the last decade. Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid regularly attacked Republicans for what he called a “Koch addiction.”

Yet the Kochs have clashed with the Trump administration at times.

AP Delenda Est.

Gives me something to look forward to in the growing volume of obituaries in our “Class Notes”. I sensed this guy was an arrogant prick first time I laid eyes on him ca. 1958/9.

Say what you will about National JohnBircherism, Dude, at least it’s an ethos.

Wasn’t Carlton an Establishment Republican?

Makes sense.

They looked like pure evil even in their younger years.

In fact, they look like agents from some Arch-Villain society.

Retiring? Never.

In the face of his “deteriorating health,” he’s working on a deal with the devil to allow him to work against entitlements and lower the taxes of the rich from hell.

not a chance —

You’d have better luck getting that bird to stop shitting on your car —
as a matter of fact … he’ll now have MORE time to manipulate the subtle indoctrination of society —

Return on investment … He doesn’t have a philanthropic bone in his body —

If they’ve been demonized, it’s because they are greedy, mean devils. Americans for Prosperity? Yes, the rich are the ones who get more prosperous- the recent tax cuts, for example.

Just look at all the devilish things they’ve been up to. Get a clue, AP.

It’s they part where they call “telling the simple plain truth and trying to get people to pay attention to it” “demonization” that makes me want to burn down the headquarters, level whatever’s left and sow the ground with salt.

I wish I could say the usual bullshit about how, although I disagree with him politically, I am so sorry he is in deteriorating health. I cannot say that because I am hoping someone will drop an Acme anvil on the head of this despicable motherfucker and crush him to death. Slowly and painfully, of course.

THE only good thing to come from a gerontocracy is that they eventually ALL die.
