The cockroaches are streaming out from under the baseboards. In some European countries, these guys would be arrested for hate speech. Trump included.

“More recently, Fox News, the shabbat goy shiksa Megyn Kelly, ‘cause they love to have some gentiles doing it.”

Definitely Trump-Veep material.

The GOP base must love this guy.

I think it’s safe to say Trumpy the Clown has completely sewn up the KKKluker vote. Whats even more amazing is how public the love-fest has been… Guess that’s what Roberts really meant when he said we’re living in a post-racial America. The racists no longer need to hide.

Ivanka converted to Judiasm when she married Jared Kushner. So Trump loves his daughter so much that he will tell Duke that he doesn’t want the support of despicable, bigoted scum, right???

Now, I need to see Democrats calling on Trump to denounce Duke’s statements. It should not be hard, what with Shelly A’s millions in the balance. But it could force Trump to decide between Adelson’s money, or p*ssing off the part of his base that is just plain racist. I don’t think he has the guts, but Dems need to call him on it. Now.

David is a Hebrew name, right?

I thought I would be able to make some kind of snappy rejoinder. But this is so vile and hateful, I can’t find the words. This is just evil shit.

Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke came to presumptive nominee Donald Trump’s defense on his Tuesday radio show and blamed “Jews” in the media for Trump’s racially-motivated attacks on a federal judge.

The choots-puh is strong in this one.

Hmmm . . . so Donny, how’s that pivot to the general working out?

“After initially dodging multiple opportunities to distance himself from Duke, Trump denounced Duke’s support for his candidacy in February.”

Some denunciation. A sentence with no object:

As I stated at the press conference on Friday regarding David Duke- I disavow.

Gruppenfuehrer: “The Jew is using The Black as muscle against you. And you are left there helpless. Well, what are you going to do about it, Whitey? Just sit there? Of course not! You are going to join with us…An organization of decent, law abiding white folk. Just like you!”

Jake: “I hate Illinois Nazis.”

One of the things that is extremely dangerous about Trump is not Trump himself, but geo-political-historical sloppiness of those charged with informing the public about him. People often refer to Trump along the lines of attacking George Wallace as some sort of “equivalent” to Trump. This ignores some important differences

  • Wallace and other individuals like him sought to enforce racist policy by using the mechanisms already present in the United States system of government, such as Nullification (John C. Calhoun), Supreme Court decisions (Dred Scott, Plessy versus Ferguson) and what Wallace attempted to do. Trump has no respect or regard for anything present in the United States Constitution aside from what serves him specifically at any given time…and these are ONLY applicable to what he wants.

  • Trump is a demagogic fascist who is the antithesis of the “small government” thinking animating people ranging from Thomas Jefferson to Strom Thurmond to Mitch McConnell. If Trump is “small government” then so were Hitler and Mussolini.

  • As racist and egotistical Wallace and his ilk may have been, they still, roughly, considered themselves as part of a larger collective. Trump believes in Trump, and Trump alone.

  • Those who are following Trump are either unaware of the above (his voters) or are fooling themselves that they can bring Trump under their control (GOP politicians) or are making themselves rich by “interviewing” him (Main Stream Media and FOX)

Post Script…Trump is also representing one of the two major political parties in the United States of America. This means that he has an exponentially greater probability of assuming power than did George Wallace (who at best was a spoiler). In addition, Trump has upwards of 45+% of the voting population which is either supporting him or is prepared to do so (if the GOP Message Machine can swing it). 45+% of the voting population in this case would be a majority of whites either voting for Trump or prepared to do so if some circumstance would avail itself (and analysts from Nate Silver on down have noted that Trump CAN win). This has, effectively, placed–for the foreseeable future-- the ideology of racism front and center in American life and in the daily face of Americans who have to live, love and work with each other, whether Trump goes down to defeat or not. The only scenario in which this would not be the case would be a dramatic rejection of Trump, probably in the form of a 50 state blowout defeat in the General, which few people are predicting. They are predicting a much closer election. In addition, the overwhelming majority of elected Republican officials, as well as commentators, support Donald J.Trump as of the writing of this post
