I watched the ad last night, and I was underwhelmed. A 48-year-old song and lots and lots of white people. However, as the Captain said above, we do not need this kind of bullshit. It just makes Hillary’s campaign sound petty.

Clinton’s allies will be her undoing and in the the process our own. She needs to rein them the fuck in, and this foppish pompadoured douchenozzle should be told to never speak publicly for her or against Sanders until the election is over. I don’t care that he founded Media Matters and I don’t care that he’s apparently on “our side.” He’s a fucking twit for making this statement and he needs to disappear.

Is he serious?? Bernie was - literally - walking the walk for the Civil Rights Movement while Hillary was @ Wellsley.

Well I certainly was glad when he wrote the book Blinded By The Right and made his conversion but he has become a rapid supporter and while I appreciate some of the work he has done to debunk the lies about Hillary, this statement is beyond the pale.

Sometimes surrogates don’t serve their candidate well. Hillary needs to nip this in the bud. I’m thinking of Romney and John Sununu here,only Romney didn’t nip it in the bud and Sununu damaged him every time he opened his mouth.

Wow, that was pretty stupid. Does Sanders have a problem getting traction with POC? Yes. Does it serve Hillary well having one of her pitbulls out there pointing that out? Not really. No one likes to be looked upon as a token constituency group to check the box with. I think she personally connects well with POC and I think that Bernie does well also. She just has deeper institutional roots.

That’s what’s so ridiculous. She’s leading Sanders in virtually every poll, has a huge lead in endorsements by Democratic Party figures, is very well-funded, and appeals to every portion of the Democratic base. She ought to realize she can afford to bend over backwards in NOT going after Sanders, but she just doesn’t get it. This is why I periodically have flashbacks of Martha Coakley.
