Discussion: Darren Wilson Told Grand Jury That Michael Brown Looked Like A 'Demon'

Discussion for article #230543

There’s a few things I’m not sure of. Was Wilson alone or with a second officer? Was Wilson driving and seated in the driver’s seat when he initially confronted Brown? If so, how did Brown punch him on the right side of his face? His injuries should have been to the left side. If there are inconsistencies in Wilson’s statement did anyone ask him to explain them?

It’s a good thing for Wilson that the prosecutor didn’t act like a typical prosecutor. Wilson got to tell his version without cross examination. It’s almost as if the prosecutor became the defense attorney.

We definitely need to retrain our police forces to start seeing the rest of us as human beings when a confrontation starts. They are a danger to all of us. They don’t just see black people as demons, they see any protestor, any homeless person, any resident and their dog, when they break into the wrong address, as demons.

That’s not evidence, not even close, there was no reason for saying it except to stereotype Micheal Brown as the scary black man and you can bet it worked on the jury just the way it was intended. It should not even been allowed

Why was he even given a chance to testify. Michael Brown couldn’t testify. There is nothing Darren Wilson could say that could be taken objectively. There was no balance to his testimony.

That didn’t sound scripted at all.

Subjectivity kills.

There is no cross-examination during grand jury proceedings.

Just go away. Go away and join the George Zimmerman victory tour.

I happen to stumble across a book titled “Cops and Character.” Science fiction.

I know that. And, typically the accused doesn’t testify during grand jury proceedings. But, it was a great way for Wilson to get out his version of what occurred without having to explain the inconsistencies in his statement.

You have to wonder who the real demons might be…a kid who needlessly died in the street or a guy that pumped him full of lead without any sense of responsibility or fear of retribution from a disturbingly racist part of the US that still can;t understand what the fuss is all about.Just listen to the officials involved with this case ,the governor, police prosecutor…make sure you have a barf bag when you do.

The Grand Jurors can and did question those who testified. They asked many questions, that’s how it works. The prosecutor does not do it, the Grand Jury does it.

It was also a way for Wilson to set himself up for a perjury charge is ANYTHING he said contradicts DOJ investigation, forensics, etc. He was under no obligation to testify. And on top of that, the Grand jury is allowed to question him.

Key is instructions to the Grand Jury…as the old cliche goes…a GJ can indict a ham sandwich, as always it’s all in the presentation. McCulloch wanted no part of bringing this case to trail and it was painfully obvious in the way things unfolded including a curious spate of leaks that are usually unheard of in this process.

The last thing the prosecutor wanted was an indictment. He went through the motions and got the desired result.

Clever using “demon” to appeal to the holy rollers.

Those ears must fill out Wilson’s hood nicely, helps keep its shape.

The Grand Jury could question it, plus every single witness testified, and the Grand Jury could ask them questions. All of them. So what’s the problem?

Let’s all pinch our right cheeks until they’re red and topically irritated and post pictures of it, claiming to have been attacked by demons.

Of course he did. But we found out who the genuine demon truly was, didn’t we? You’re still alive, demon, but you’re not out of legal jeopardy yet.

Wilson was alone. How do you not know this?

Witnesses testified that Wilson tried to get out of his car, and Brown slammed the door twice on him and punched him, and then a scuffle ensued. Can you tell my why during this scuffle Wilson would remain facing forward? That’s pretty silly. And from the photos, it is obvious Brown had hit Wilson a few times, that’s not even debatable.

And witnesses also testified that after Wilson chased Brown, Brown turned around and came at Wilson. 6 black witnesses testified as such. Other witnesses who said Brown was surrendering and was shot in the back have changed their stories since autopsy results were released, and many now say they were just repeating what they heard. They should be charged with making false statements. And those people are still welcome to go on TV and say what they saw.
