The Poster boy for the argument that âthere is no difference between the PartiesââŚ
Cuomo likely has multiple motivations for the legal action, as he is currently fighting off primary challenger and actress Cynthia NixonâŚ
Wow, did Maureen Dowd write this, or some other Dem-hater? Cuomo has room for improvement, but actually has a solid record of actually doing the right thing. I see the typical self-immolating Democrats are already weighing in.
Iâd be shocked if Andrew Cuomo saw Cynthia Nixonâs erratic, policy-free campaign as an actual threat. Sheâll get between 30%-35% of the primary vote, the same as any gadfly garners.
Cuomo falls into category of Rockefellar Republican, which all things being equal, is not a bad thing in light of alternatives like Astorino or that POS PaladinoâŚ
But we can do a lot better, and I donât mean Cynthia NixonâŚ
New York has standing for this lawsuit:
Cuomo, who said the state would sue the federal government over its âzero toleranceâ policy of taking the children from their families, said the children are in facilities in Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Lincolndale and Yonkers.
They are part of what Cuomo said are 70 children being held in New York state.
The governor did not identify the facilities, but 10 agencies in the state have contracts with the federal government to provide services to unaccompanied foreign children.
Those include four in Westchester: The Childrenâs Village in Dobbs Ferry, Abbott House in Irvington, Leake & Watts in Yonkers, and Lincoln Hall Boyâs Haven in Lincolndale, a hamlet in Somers.
Anyone who has experienced child abuse or has been a frightened child at some point should be 100% behind this and stifle the urge to catcall or question motives:
Thank you, Gov. Cuomo, and the other governors who are withdrawing their national guard from the border.
Would that we had a governor in Texas who would put the kibosh on this shameful policy.
Is the Dem purity-patrol already taking swipes?
Ah, I see they are.
Like clockwork.
âFUCK the immigrantsâ they say. âWe demand single-payer!!!â
I cannot comment on your comment until I hear the opinion of President Jill Stein.
