In fairness, Chaffetz has always been pretty vocal about calling for Petraeus to testify before Congress concerning his scandal. He might be the only republican that did, but he has been pretty consistent on that point.

Not just the FBI, but all of the brave men and women who work in law enforcement and all people in uniform.
Absolutely every Democrat on the committee should begin his/her questioning with:
âDirector Comey, first, let me apologize for your having been brought here for a purely partisan political dog & pony show by the Republicans.â
âYou asked for a hearing on General Petraeus and how that was dealt with: you got it.â
What does that even mean? Does this make sense to anyone that isnât firmly within the rightwing bubble?
Iâm surprised that some whiny tittybaby Republicans havenât yet threatened to defund the FBI because no charges against Clinton were filed. That actually sounds like something The Donald ââŚwould look into.â
And remember Chaffetz was the buffoon that let slip that the facility that was attacked in Benghazi was not a State Department facility, but one from another agency. That was something that had been kept behind closed doors until he blurted it out. Chaffetz is not a person to whom classified information should be entrusted.
I saw a comment on social media this morning that I hope like hell is true. Someone said that Pelosi is grooming Cummings to be her replacement. He would be amazing.

We could have an FBI investigation of mishandling of classified information by congresscritters. Oh, wait, separation of powers. We canât.
Every time a Congressional investigation comes up empty in its attempt to put some kind of stain on HRC, they insist on starting over from scratch. Witness the endless Benghazi brouhaha â 13 investigations and theyâre still not done. If Hillary werenât on the verge of becoming President, she could look forward to email investigations ad infinitum. Why do they keep getting do-overs every time an investigation concludes?
After I explained to this one bozo online that previous Secretaries of State Powell and Rice also used unauthorized servers for their email communications, he responded, âBut they werenât investigated â why do you think that is?â He was clearly trying to imply that Clinton had broken the law while they did not.
