Well, then we go into 2020 and pray like hell that it’s an absolute landslide, and the military refuses Trump’s orders to barricade him in the WH while he contests the millions of fake votes, and gets the Supremes to confirm that he won by a 5-4 margin.

Relax. You do seem impatient to be moving on things.
It takes time, always does. If they’re too hasty, then they give arguments to the other side that they’ve not been given enough opportunity to respond, and the court throws out the case.
Cummings (and Nadler, and the rest) knows what he is doing to build a case that a court isn’t going to dismiss.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is a shitload of action comin’ down the pike against Trump. A lot of VOLUME of charges…!!! It is not necessary to exhaust all other avenues prior to issuance of a subpoena. Indeed, using a subpoena initially is advisable if you believe that a witness will be uncooperative and/or hide or destroy evidence.
When the democrats were in the minority, they respectfully requested these kinds of documents in furtherance of their constitutionally mandated oversight responsibilities, and were ignored. The fact that they were ignored is sufficient to establish that Team Trump will not cooperate with the Dems in he majority, unless forced to.
Issue the subpoena, THEN enter into negotiations. And if the negotiations are unsucessful by the subpoena’s deadline, enforce the subpoena in court.
Just stop dicking around. The GOP isn’t going to approve of a Dems subpoena regardless of when they issue it, and any delay is simply playing into their hands.

Posturing? When Darrell Issa was chair of Oversight Committee, HE postured. Mr. Cummings is working towards a goal which will include enough info to make an airtight case against the trumPP crime family. You really need to rethink what you’ve said, makes you sound stupid and racist.

Cummings needs to stop dicking around, and issue the subpoena immediately, because this is a matter of national security
By NOT waiting, Cummings will establish that this is an urgent matter that requires immediate attention — and establishes a predicate for expedited review throughout the court process if/when Trump does not adequately respond to the subpoena.
But by dicking around, Cummings is saying that there is no national security urgency here — and making it that much easier for Trump to ignore Cummings.
Indeed, Cummings should be using the phrase “national emergency” when discussing his subpoena regarding security clearances in the white house.

Cummings’ investigation began in January, and even being generous one could say some of it began the day after the election in November. This is March 1.
I expect more too, such as pots of gold left at my back door, or failing that bags of Benjamins. Failing that I want unicorns.

Cummings is an old political hack who doesn’t realize that the rules of changed — and who is more than willing to give racists like Mark Meadows a pass.
The only people who try to use “racism” when confronted with criticism of hacks like Cummings are those who have no other effective arguments.

- It negates the terrific work Cummings did on Wednesday
- It forces people to respond to the troll
- It forces people to take sides with (or against) the troll
- It overall deflates the tenor of the discussion
