Pence’s entire history has been anti-LGBT. No matter what he says, his words are hollow. He is a bigot and so is the majority of his Legislator. Unfortunately, some good business people in Indiana may be harmed by this action, but business and municipalities outside of Indiana that have chosen to cut off Indiana are sending the right message. We all need to stand for equality and dignity for every human being.

Joe-Sco must have been beside himself. Anyone know if he threw a nutty over this? I can’t bring myself to actually watch the show (I don’t need help getting infuriated in the morning haha), so I dunno what happened.

Scar went to the 20 states do it TP. The Guv. told him that was more crap. The Gov. busted Scar with the 3 co-bigots at the signing ceremony. Scar cited Washington Post editorial. So opinion to fact response was about it.
I don’t pay a cable company to pipe commercials into my house so had to go to the article clip.

That very weak talking point came straight from the GOP, hoping (knowing?) that the media would not dig further to discover what IND did is much worse than what other states have done. That line is what the GOPers are parroting all over the place about this bill. Clearly either Scar called them for the line or more likely the GOP just spoon-fed it to him.

He schooled them all - not just Joe, Mika and Co. were trumpeting the "it’s the same law as the one Bill Clinton signed BS - someone brought up “differences” and none of them knew what those could be, until “Up too early” Willie Geist did some googling and brought up the it applies to businesses point, which seemed to confuse both Joe and Mika. Couldn’t see the visuals, this was coming through Sirrius and I was fighting the urge to drive up to 30 Rock to enlighten the morning crew.
The best worst part: after Malloy came back and really slammed Joe, they giggled out their “real important question” - when was Spring going to finally come to Connecticut?
I am not making this up.
Yglesias famously noted that Pence was profoundly dumb. He should spend time with these guys.

I cannot understand why Mike Pence needed a new law if religious freedom was already protected by the First Amendment and by laws signed by President Bill Clinton. Doesn’t federal law supersede a state law? Will corporations be allowed to be religulous?
