Discussion for article #237717
Two words, Mr. Cruz: Laudato siâ .
Great Job Mr. Cruz
You are doing an excellent job putting the kibosh on your sonâs aspirations. Just keep talkingâŚ
Yep, yep ⌠what ever that problem, whatever the beef âŚ
when they get down to the bottom of it ⌠it is always them JEWS!
Hereâs a newsflash for you, psycho Tedâs crazy dad, other peopleâs religion and politics are none of your goddamn business. You just keep your pointy snoot out of other folksâ business and weâll all get along just fine.
So they should be GOPâers first and then Catholic? And that would be A OK!
Ted McCarthy Sr accuses Northeastern Catholics and Jews of being communist.
Krusher - donât you understand - you are encroaching upon Cruzâs Dadâs religious liberty & freedom ⌠the religious liberty to freely impose his religious & moral beliefs upon everyone because he religiously believes in his infallibility and supremacy.
Rafael Cruz said that Americans âneed to put principle above tradition.â
You hate monger, re-read what you just said here. Put principle above your own âtraditionâ (in this case, your version of your religion).
so ânortheastern Jewsâ was a pass for Sheldon Alderson out there in Vegas?
I say we make this guy Ted Cruzâ official spokesperson.
Senor CruzâŚthe Roman Catholic Church in Spain was responsible for some of the worst atrocities under General Francoâs rule. They were also among the worst offenders during the rule of Augusto Pinochet in Chile, and were more than willing to help cover up the atrocities of Rafael Trujillo. Wherever a Fascist Dictator can be found, one finds religious groups clamoring behind him for a little slice of the power.
Stop projecting, Senor Cruz. Just because youâre a Cubano does not mean that you know anything. In fact, being a Cubano really means you donât know jack about being oppressed, suppressed, and repressed given that you buggered off out of Cuba before the worst things happened under your boy Fidel Castro- and donât think weâve forgotten that you supported Castro.
Mr Cruz needs a much louder megaphone.
Let everyone hear the GOPâs racist rants I say.
Funny how much Jewish and Catholic principles resemble those of the Democratic party:
To help the downtrodden, feed the sick, clothe the naked, work with the poor.
Funny how much the so-called Christian senior Cruz doesnât quite make that connection - that those who deserve help are only those who look like him, agree with him and live in his neighborhood, maybe.
Funny how Jesus never said to feed, clothe and tend to each other only if they look like you.
John Kennedy would be a Rethuglican today? Hell, even St. Ronnie wouldnât be a Rethuglican today.
Northeastern Catholics, Jews Put Being Dems Above Religion
Translation: Cruzâs dad laments that sane people keep religion and politics separate.
Itâs a pity that Cruzâs dad isnât a Christian. He might have a different perspective on religion and politics:
âRender unto Caesar the things that are Caesarâs, and unto God the things that are Godâsâ
â Matthew 22:21
âPope Francis on line 1, Mr. Cruz.â
âUnfortunately, in the northeast, the Jews are Democrats first and Jews secondâŚThere are people voting Democrat because, 'My grandfather or my father voted Democrat.â Let me tell you something. The Democratic party today is not the Democratic party of John Kennedy. John Kennedy would be a Republican today,â
"I believe in an America where the separation of church and state
is absolute, where no Catholic prelate would tell the president (should
he be Catholic) how to act, and no Protestant minister would tell his
parishioners for whom to vote; where no church or church school is
granted any public funds or political preference; and where no man is
denied public office merely because his religion differs from the
president who might appoint him or the people who might elect him.
I believe in an America that is officially neither Catholic,
Protestant nor Jewish; where no public official either requests or
accepts instructions on public policy from the Pope, the National
Council of Churches or any other ecclesiastical source; where no
religious body seeks to impose its will directly or indirectly upon the
general populace or the public acts of its officials; and where
religious liberty is so indivisible that an act against one church is
treated as an act against all.
I believe in a president whose religious views are his own private
affair, neither imposed by him upon the nation, or imposed by the nation
upon him as a condition to holding that office. I would
not look with favor upon a president working to subvert the First
Amendmentâs guarantees of religious liberty. Nor would our system of
checks and balances permit him to do so. And neither do I look with
favor upon those who would work to subvert Article VI of the
Constitution by requiring a religious test â even by indirection â for
it. If they disagree with that safeguard, they should be out openly
working to repeal it. â John F. Kennedy, September 12, 1960
Somehow, I donât think the Cruzes Two would know Jesus if he walked up to them and politely asked for a glass of water. They most certainly wouldnât know Jesus if Jesus instructed them to be kind to and not judge others. Iâm not a Christian, but Iâve been repeatedly mistaken for one of his followers all throughout my life â by some very very nice people, at that.
My bet is these type of statements are fully endorsed by his son and his sonâs campaign behind closed doors. They think that by having the father tossing out such insane red meat, while pretending he isnât part of the campaign (except when he is making an appearance and IS part of the campaign), that they can just fall back and say âhey, Ted didnât say thatâŚbring it up with his fatherâŚwho is not part of the campaign. And, ohâŚyou can catch him at our next political rally when he will be part of the campaign. Until its over and he says more insane stuff. Then he isnâtâ
Clear?
