Hmmm. What does God’s hand suggest to you? That is, if you were seeking a message from the divine in this manner, which probably you wouldn’t; but if you did? Doesn’t “the hand of God” signify…power? Whereas Seek his face would mean: seek salvation, God’s presence, beatitude, etc. A very different connotation.
