A Trump run in the General will be the ugliest Presidential campaign in modern American political history. Many Americans will lose their dignity and their souls. Even if we manage to win, it will be at a great cost. Trump has achieved a way to schmooze the racism, xenophobia and hate into “entertainment”, all while slipping in and out of “responsibility”

Both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz make excellent points. Given his meltdown and odd robotic behavior during the debates, weird middle school dick and urination jokes during the campaign, Marco Rubio should step down to seek psychiatric help for his behavioral and medical conditions. At this point he does not have the temperament and qualifications to be junior senator much less a president.

Ganging up on Rubio hardly seems fair. After all, there’s no reason why Cruz, Trump and Rubio can’t drop out.

Really, this is Trump’s first big strategy error. He should want Rubio to stay in as long as possible to split the ‘anyone but Trump’ vote. A Cruz vs Trump race after today would more likely result in a brokered convention where anyone but Trump will win.
