This is what Cruz does. He puts forth an accusation that can be neither proven nor disproved, and then acts as though the onus is on the other person to prove the accusation is false.
That said, I actually believe this is probably true. There’s a treasure trove of oppo research against Trump. We all know it. Why the RNC or the other GOP candidates haven’t tried to use it is truly a mystery to me. But I do thoroughly expect the media will come for Trump once he locks down the nomination. It will not be pretty.

What makes anyone think that Trump’s followers give a damn about his ethics or dealings? Unless Donald opened an orphanage with out the name TRUMP emblazoned on it, I think they would just say, “JUST WIN, Baby!!” They are the badboy Raider fans of American Politics.

And maybe Trump doesn’t want to win the presidency. Maybe he wants to simply build his iconoclastic brand. Losing the presidency would just confirm that the political world is not ready for his greatness. Worked for Palin, Gingrich, et al.,

CNN is using Erick Erickson of Red State (in print) as a source with substance on matters Trump.
This is, to me, is no better than watching Fox News.
