Discussion for article #244449
You’ve got to hand it to Ted. He’s a bastard up close and personal, as well as at the podium.
Cruz, nodding sympathetically
He nodded sympathetically? No.
You have to understand something about Cubans: they hate Mexicans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans and Mexicans. They can often pass for white, which is why this pendejo and the other one, Rubio, can have traction with right-wingers. Raphael, with his affected phony ass Tejas drawl, is just telegraphing how much Cubans look down on other Latinos.
Obama better get cracking. His Executive Orders still lag behind W by over 60.
Not much of a monarch.
Credit to Cruz for not revealing he would also shoot her dog, rape her mother and burn down their house. Baby steps…
Obviously Cruz believes that the sins of the parents should be visited on the children. How Medieval!
How biblical.
Cruz is a friggin’ Communist Cuban born in Canada.
On WHAT planet does he think he has rights to ‘deport’ anything from America?
That’s why they call him “Mr. Warmth.”
This man revels in in-your-face meanness. No wonder he is the most hated man in DC.
He nodded in a way only to appear sympathetic – his drawl modulated to mask the utter hypocrisy and cruelty of his words.
what would jesus do
You’re one tough Cubano, Teadoro, tough, I tell ya, tough.
Man you don’t take no shit off of nobody.
Look at this evil mean prick.
Exactly!
No question he’s a psychopath. None at all. These kinds of telling incidents plus anecdotes from his student days support the observation.
So, even though she hasn’t broken any laws or done anything wrong, Cruz thinks she should be severely punished…for something her parents did, many years ago. Because of course he does.
How low can you go? The answer always appears imminent, yet the bottom continues to recede, seemingly into infinity.
Actually, the answer is known, but it depends on which Jesus does the doing.
If it’s Right-wing Jeeeebus, well – RWJ is a relatively little-known Old Testament put-the-to-the-sword and dash-their-heads-against-rocks kind of guy. RWJ would be down with this proposal.
The Jesus of the Beatitudes, on the other hand – well, Carnival doesn’t seem to know anything about that Jesus. And that Jesus (the one who said the greatest commandment is to love God; and the second is to love your fellow man) wouldn’t have much truck with it.
It’s all enough to make me wish that Carnival and his daddy are right. If they are correct, I fully expect to see Carnival among the goats at the final judgement.
Carnival’s willingness to judge others has no supremum; the morality of his actions has no infimum.
