Man, this guy is tone deaf – in addition to being odious in his ideology. First his foray into Manhattan at a gay power couple’s home and then the next day this vote-skipping.
Cruz was very principled in his opposition to Loretta Lynch’s nomination for Attorney General, just not principled enough to show up for the vote!!

You shouldn’t be allowed to stay on your government job and run for office. He needs to either put in the time or his resignation. They talk about lazy welfare people, well Congress is a shining example of shirkers on the public dole.

Texas actually has a law that prohibits an elected official from running for another office without resigning the office he already holds. However, it does not apply to federal offices.

re cruz supporters… there was a fundraiser given by two gay hoteliers whose lgbt directed businesses are now being subjected to a boycott for their support of cruz… bummer… and just as summer season reservations in the hamptons/fire island really gets underway… lol
