I’m one of her bigger detractors, but I’ll give Kelly props here for her line of questioning. Very relevant to today’s election cycle, on-point question and she was persistent in a professional manner – didn’t seem slanted, as is her usual tone. Seriously, I would like to see a LOT more like this on FOX Entertainment. That said, I’ll not hold my breath.

Funny how Cruz calls it a “mainstream media” question simply because it’s a fair but uncomfortable question coming from the GOP friendly FOX news. I think Trump pissed her off and maybe she’s taking her a job a tad more serious now.

How is it a distraction? If this is a big part of the platform than it needs to be covered. The 14th Amendment is a big problem for those with this view really. And even if he wants a staged implementation what does that mean? And what areas of bipartisan agreement? His side wants to build a wall and deport everyone. The other side wants to reform the system. There might be technical things but not sure the GOP believes in bipartisan support.
Not to mention the guys whole primary and campaign approach is to win with conservatives only and throw moderates aside.

That’s a terrific interview dodge that the GOP base will accept every time. Whenever you don’t want to answer a question, just say, “That’s a question Barak Obama wants you to ask”.

IOW, I have no idea what or how to implement anything. I just know certain people want to hear certain things and I’m willing to say them in order to get their vote. But I do know how to say no a lot. It doesn’t require a brain to say no that is why they love me so much. They identify with that.

I agree, Trump has managed to get her and Fox News upset at him. It will be interesting to see if FNC stands behind her or bows down to Trump. I would guess the size of Megyn’s golden parachute will have a LOT to do with that decision. Add in whether or not the contract prohibits tell all books after leaving, the next week or so should be interesting.
