Alberta Rafael could be the Democrats’ BBF if he pulls another shutdown filibuster.

I think you can thank the 40% of Texans who stayed home from the polls during that election

Cuban-Canadian, spawn of illegal Cuban immigrant, threatens to shut down American government. A second time.

And we let it happen.

If Alberta Rafael puts forth a bill or amendment, another Senator should put forth an amendment to his amendment calling for the provisions to apply to Cubans.

“In the summer of 2013, with the Affordable Care Act about to begin enrolling its first customers in the new health-care exchanges, Ted Cruz warned Republicans that they were facing one final chance to kill the law.”

“Haunted by visions of millions of Americans now gaining access to medical treatment.”

“I think we should use any and all means necessary to prevent the president from illegally granting amnesty.”

Given his father’s history, this is an absurdly insensitive point of view.

Cruz is also introducing legislation that would make it easier to strip Americans who join ISIS of their citizenship. On the surface, that seems reasonable until you see what else he has added. The addition of “material assistance” can be interpreted however you want and will be used to strip entirely innocent people of their citizenship.

But if he is so anxious to protect America from people who fight against it, he should expand it to include all terrorists who plan violence against the US such as the gun nuts at Gundy’s place and all the rest of the right wing terrorists. He could also go after those whose religion takes precedence over their allegiance to the US to the point that they want to substitute their religion for an elected government such as his father and almost all right wing christianists. The very least those people deserve is to lose voting rights in all elections.

Careful, Cubans and Jews historically enjoyed special exemptions to our immigration laws. A majority of politicians are in bed on this sleep-over.

He just can’t help himself. The chance to be the talk of the nation is just too delicious to turn down. Thanks Ted!
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), notorious for pushing the federal government to shut down in 2013, seems open to doing so again this year.
Ted “Carnival” Cruz has repeatedly stated HE did not shutdown the government - he stated that Obama did it.

Hey Cruz… how about if we REVOKE amnesty for all of the Cubans crossing the Florida straights and being granted political asylum the minute they hit the beach… I wonder how your psychotic father would react to that?

If the USA is to good for dreamers then the the USA is to good for all of the Cubans that have come here also…

Yo Teddie - there is NOTHING you can do to stop or overrule a presidential pardon. Nothing.

Scream and whine all you want - just like talking back to the ocean when a tidal wave is coming towards you. Pointless - like your whole life.
