Discussion: Cruz On Bathroom Bill: Transgender Individuals Aren't 'The Real Danger'

“If you pass a law, as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and Barack Obama
want, that says any adult man can go into — a girl’s restroom if he
feels like a woman at that minute, listen, the real danger is not people
who are transgendered,” Cruz said on NBC News’ "Meet the Press. “It’s
people who are predators.”
…
Fucking liar… Ted, it isn’t democrats or Trump writing and passing bathroom laws. It’s your fanatics in the GOP who are scared of their own shadows. The bathroom laws that have been written and passed are ALL from republicans. It has been your party that car camps in women’s uteri. It’s YOUR party that spouts crap about smaller less intrusive government, lower taxes and the rest.
So I call BULLSHIT on you.
Take a hike Cruz… You insult my intelligence.

Ted, I have news for you. It will be hard for you to hear but it is true. A lot of public bathroom for men have several urinals in them. They’re designed for multiple men to be there at the same time. Ted, there’s a 100% likelihood you have shared a bathroom with a gay person, a transgender person, a bisexual person, or a heterosexual person. Have I forgotten anyone’s preference? Ted, its what a get by traveling all over the country and meeting as many folks as possible.

If Cruz believes that “the real danger is not people who are transgendered,” then why does he support the North Carolina law that explicitly targets people who are transgendered?

I swear, most Republicans–at least the nutty evangelicals–are just not capable of logic. Asking them to think critically, logically is like asking a demon to willingly swallow salt.

What kind of sick mind invents and dwells on horrendous situations that aren’t occuring? How many women and children have been molested or abused in public rest-rooms? They are spending far too much tome obsessing about what their sick little demented minds focus on. Sick, sick, sick.

Republican minds for one.

Approximately 4/5 of rapes were committed by someone known to the victim.

82% of sexual assaults were perpetrated by a non-stranger.

47% of rapists are a friend or acquaintance.

25% are an intimate (boyfriend / girlfriend).

5% are a relative.

The average age of a rapist is 31 years old.

  • 52% are white.
  • 22% of imprisoned rapists report that they are married.

There has not been one single case – EVER – where a sexual predator has been able to use a public accommodations law as a defense… nor have there been ANY issues caused by transgender people using the facility that matches their gender identity that didn’t come from a straight, cisgender (non-trans) person creating a fuss over nothing.

That there are so many documented cases of pastors, youth ministers and Republican politicians – if there’s a better case for banning them from using public lavatories.

Yes you have, and it’s time for Cruz to champion a bill that bans farm animals from public restrooms.

Ultimately Ted Cruz doesn’t give a shit about this topic. It’s just an excuse for him to stick the image of Donald Trump in a dress preying on children into the heads of voters. I think most Republican voters are actually hip to this on some level and the fact that he’d do this is why everyone on earth despises Ted Cruz.

Without dignifying Cruz’s pathetic flailing, though, I have never understood how these Republican laws are supposed to work. The idea is that a cis rapist dresses up like a lady and says that they’re transgendered, yes? Once you pass the law, why would this hypothetical rapist not just say they were born a woman and were therefore legally obligated to use the women’s room? Are you going to check chromosomes?

Finally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to tell Cruz’s would-be “trans ambassador,” TV’s Cait Jenner, to go fuck herself sideways. Ms. Jenner, there are people in your position who don’t have your resources and this kind of shit gets many of them beaten up or killed. And switching from Cruz to Trump only demonstrates the depth of your idiocy.

Chicago radio host: “Apparently, the city of Charlotte has hired male security guards to monitor women’s restrooms to make sure only actual woman use the facilities. I guess Republicans really are job creators.”

If you don’t have anything to say about real issues, make some up. Preferably scary ones.

Cruz is admitting that he doesn’t use the same bathroom as his daughters in their own home? Can’t he control his “urges?” I’m sure I wouldn’t want him using any of the bathrooms in the White House. Probably calls the toilet bowl seat something foreign like the toilet “ring.”

Sometimes I wonder at these guys. It’s like they’ve never been around a woman. Trump made a huge point of how “disgusting” it was that a woman candidate would take a bathroom break-- and he’s been married to three women! (Not to mention I bet, over the course of his 70 years, he’s peed a few times himself.)
And Cruz seems to think that women hang out in the ladies room and all pee together so that everyone can see everyone. Hasn’t he ever accidentally pushed open the wrong door and seen that women’s rooms have individual stalls? For that matter, doesn’t he share a bathroom with his wife? I bet he manages to do that without causing any trouble.
But it’s like they have some fantasy ladies’ room in their heads, where predatory hairy big-shouldered men disguised in women’s clothes will sneak in and do something.
And no thought at all for the trans woman now forced to go into the men’s room, where something dangerous might actually happen to her.

Cait is only doing what she did as second banana to wife Kris but this time in a dress. She’s in a bubble of her own making
