Isn’t this the guy who cooks bacon with a gun & has fewer friends in the Senate than Joseph McCarthy at his nadir? In the debate I watched he was the guy who refused to answer his substantive & apropos query so he could go off on a televised rant against his sponsors. Yeah, this guy is a lock for the nomination.
I was certain from the headline of this piece that TPM had started running Onion articles. How does this drivel get on TPM? Maybe it was intended to be cached in the comedy section. Whatever the case, the only way Ted Cruz gets to the general is as the standard bearer for the Tea Party.
