For the GOP, “truth” does not mean objective facts or scientific certainty; that is not their point. For them “Truth” is gut reaction writ large. For Cruz, and many other GOP’s, “truth” is being true to yourself, expressing what you really believe is most important.
Even if it is crazy.

Cruz should wake up every day and be thankful he doesn’t have to run against Obama like Romney did. Obama would beat Cruz’s ass like a tom-tom.
Let’s just hope it lasts through the primaries and right on up to election day. Personally, I think all the Republican candidates at the debate should show up armed and loaded. They can choose the last man standing as the nominee.

Romney did not get clobbered…he lost the election by what was expected. Most of the post mortem on that suggested it was his 47 % remark and changes he made in his persona to get elected. Cruz is getting ready to get clobbered though. Unlike Romney who got beat for not being himself Cruz is in for a thrashing for being who he is.
