Alright Democrats. Let’s try and act a bit classier than the RNC attendees.

I’d be curious to know how many of the protesters were members of the Florida delegation and how many were some of the SWJs who arrived in Philadelphia to protest.

What the heck did she expect? She must have a massive ego… unless she was there to grovel and apologize, it was folly to think she would have rec’d a warm welcome. Under the best of circumstances.

I am disgusted and disappointed by the actions of the DNC leadership. The conduct of these people and the questions around HRC’s use of private email has handed the Trump campaign a huge issue to make a mountain out of. Now they can point fingers and say that Democrats cannot be trusted because a) they have hidden agendas and answer only to the power elites and b) they are incompetent when it comes to security of information.

Time for the Clinton-Kaine campaign to do some serious damage control.

One other thing, never forget this:

I dunno man. Don’t take this rant as me getting angry with you…I’m just pissed at the situation. I have supported Clinton from the get-go, but I’d jeer this woman too. She’s a fucking disaster, I’ve said so from the beginning, her bias was obvious, I’ve even had to defend myself from people not liking me point out that she’s just plain awful and now her total incompetence is proven with this email disaster that has literally given the GOPers/Teatrolls infinite misinformation talking points to have fun with. How many low information imbecile voters do you think are now totally convinced that the DNC runs around calling Hispanic outreach ā€œtaco bowl engagementā€? Lots, and it’s steadily growing, I guarantee you. How likely is it that this has now kicked the hornet’s nest with the Bernie people and given Rove’s ā€œattack from the leftā€ operations a huge leg up in instigating shit outside the DNC convention? And Clinton has now hired this walking political atrocity to be her ā€œ50 state outreachā€ campaign person?

WTF is going on here?

I don’t think a sitting Congresswoman can be a paid employee of any candidate.

Hillary will dump her by the weekend.

Any hope of party unity is shot while she is allowed to remain in power. She needs to step down NOW and not be rewarded by being allowed to ride out the convention. I guarantee there will be a much more disruptive uproar than this if she is allowed to gavel the convention open. That will be a great show for the TV cameras and fodder for the GOP.

Good! The dumb bitch should not even be in Philadelphia.

It is my understanding that she is a honorary chairperson.

Yeah, and she needs to not be. She needs to go crawl under a rock and disappear…not even attend the convention.

Before I sign off for an indefinite period of time, I want to add Alan Abramowitz’ perspective on recent polling

Alan Abramowitz
Alan Abramowitz – ā€@AlanIAbramowitz

Remember people–swings in candidate preference are due largely to variations in response rates, not real change: http://www.stat.columbia.edu/~gelman/research/unpublished/swing_voters.pdf

Cross-sectional surveys conducted during the 2012 U.S. presidential campaign showed large swings in support for the Democratic and Republican candidates, especially before and after the first presidential debate. Using a unique (in terms of scale, frequency, and source) panel survey, we find that daily sample com- position varied more in response to campaign events than did vote intentions. Multi-level regression and post-stratification (MRP) is used to correct for selec- tion bias. Demographic post-stratification, similar to that used in most academic and media polls, is inadequate, but the addition of attitudinal variables (party identification, ideological self-placement, and past vote) appear to make selec- tion ignorable in our data. We conclude that vote swings in 2012 were mostly sample artifacts and that real swings were quite small. While this account is at variance with most contemporaneous analyses, it better corresponds with our understanding of partisan polarization in modern American politics.

TPM’s ā€œHair-on-Fireā€ tabloid style is bad for my mental health.

What’s the deal about DWS and the payday loan industry? If what I’ve heard is true, and not more disinformation from wherever, I hope the 50 state thing comes to an end before it begins.
