This election is turning out to be quite a rollercoaster. How confusing/need ID/don’t need ID/need ID/no ID/ provisional ballot, indigent, religious the bullshit is too deep. Some states have ID some states have it blocked… People have a constitutional right to vote.

I don’t know if this can save Pryor, but it’s big, because a federal court can’t strike it down–it’s based on state law. (Well, if a federal court ruled that the Arkansas state constitution violates the US Constitution it could be struck down, but that’s a very remote possibility.)

“…law that requires voters to show photo identification…”

Since, in America, government is of, by, and for the people – at least, according to Republicans – shouldn’t the government be required to accept every form of identification in possession of the taxpayers?

If AR is anything like WI, all the town clerks and county election officials had to attend seminars to learn how to obey the defunct law, all for nothing. If they catch two Republican hotheads trying to illegally vote in multiple districts, that’ll be twice as many Walker-supporter-equivalents as who Wisconsin caught last time around.

Was it ever really a law? It was only pretending to be a law while time was being wasted proving the ignorance of it.

Voter suppression is what got ID’ed.

I see the SCOTUS will hear the TX voter ID case.
I wonder if Posner will file an amicus.

We don’t need no stinkin’ ID!

HANDS UP! GO VOTE! HANDS UP! GO VOTE!
Democrats have a chance to hold the Senate.
