Yes, 21 months is extremely excessive in Kentucky for assault. This guy, from everything I’ve heard, had a long running feud that had zero to do with politics and everything to do with Paul being a horrible neighbor with a stinky compost bin and unruly gardening growing into Boucher’s backyard. Not to mention the piles of wood. Violence is almost never the answer, but damn I’d buy Mr. Boucher two fingers of Pappy if I had the chance.
