Guess Iām not an American. But seriously what is with these people and constantly trying to designate what makes you a āreal Americanā. Even among their base, Iām sure there are people that donāt like the exact same things.

Important to remember that this person, like Limpballs, is an entertainer. The fact that her audience is xenophobic-bigots doesnāt change that. It is expected that she says this stuff because that is her schtick. She is playing to what the audience wants. Bob-Dylan-going-electric she will never be, and donāt ever confuse her with a āpunditā, as low as that bar is.

For someone who has made a career out of saying idiotic things, she may have topped herself here. No role for individual achievement? Lionel Messi has scored 4 of Argentinaās 7 goals. That tops the % of Heat baskets scored by Lebron James, I would wager. And of course Jamesā individual achievement was trumped by the Spurs team effort. So in which team sport does individual achievement have more of a role than in soccer?

If someone doesnāt like soccer, you donāt need to ask them. Theyāll tell you, over and over. Following their lead, whenever one of them discusses something I donāt find interesting, Iām going to jump uninvited into their conversation to loudly proclaim I find their discussion uninteresting, the way a 6-year old would.
I actively get involved in the World Cup mostly to spite these people, because it really bothers them for some reason and they kind of deserve it.

my nephews, my sons and daughter, neices and granddaughters are all 12th and 13th generation Americans. A couple of them go back even further with their Cherokee blood.
They LOVE soccer. I didnāt get to play it, Iām over 60. But to them, it is/was American as baseball, hot dogs and apple pie.
Coulterās stupid factor seems to grow with every season.
