Discussion: Coulter: 'Immigrant' Nikki Haley 'Does Not Understand America's History'

Discussion for article #237785

OK, so it first went up under a Democratic governor in 1962 to recognize the 100th anniversary of a rebellion against the United States. What does that have to do with taking it down today?

Coulter is arguing as if the GOP is under attack by demands that the flag come down, which puts her in a bad place. That means she is defending the connection between the Republican Party an armed, treasonous rebellion against the United States that she says she pledges her allegiance to.

So, Ann, does this mean that the GOPā€™s history is one of treason, armed insurrection and slavery?

So using this logic, winger Michelle Malkin knows nothing about Americaā€™s History even though sheā€™s written upteen celebrated books about it?

All kidding aside, Coulter is earning her paycheck, nothing more.

Once again, Coulter shows her pathetic stripes in a crude attempt to remain relevant and continue to make money by being piggy.

ā€¦ and Ann Coulter only understands her own fantasy version of American history.

And ā€˜Petulant Reptileā€™ Ann Coulter ā€˜does not understand human empathyā€™

Coulter probably didnā€™t mention that the Democratic governor was a conservative.

Iā€™d be willing to bet Ann Coulter is not that stupid. Surely she knows how well stupid sells, though. Iā€™ve got to give it to her that sheā€™s taken the science of ā€œDumbing Downā€ and elevated it to an art form. I donā€™t know how else to explain the consistence in her vapidity. Lord knows if I was paid millions to shovel shit Iā€™d make a career of it.

Coulter was born in a Viperā€™s nest. Kinda skewed her outlook on things, too.

Yeah, those Dixiecrats, um I mean Republicans, kinda ruin her narrative.

We have been seeing a lot of Coulter lately. She must have a book coming out. Listen to what she says and you just might discover what is wrong with America. For example contemplate the sentence " I really like to like Nikki Haley since she is a Republican." I guess that means she only really likes Republicans. How tribal is that?

If she does, she doesnā€™t when she is in her television character.

Haley was born in South Carolina and Coulter calls her an immigrant. Can we now lay to rest (as if we needed more proof) that Ann Coulter is nothing but a vile hate monger?

I couldnā€™t ethically do her version of it. Dumbing down is one thingā€“hate and bottom-rung fear-mongering is quite another.

The sad thing is, itā€™s by far the easiest propaganda to sling.

No. The GOP BASE is under attack.
The GOP relies on the solid 15% of Americans who are full-blown racists to win their elections.
If that group does not turn out at up to 90% voting levels, they LOSE and they know it.
There is no other way to explain their abject pandering to this constituency (and the MASSIVE amount of Media spending they commit to it via the Right-Wing Echo Chamber.)
Unfortunately for the GOP, this group is shrinking rapidly with the young voters being MUCH more egalitarian on race issues, so they know they MUST WIN the next election cycle to allow them to put in place their race-based polices because they know it will take at least 16 years (4 election cycles) to remove them. They hope that by that point they have radicalized enough Americans to remain in power.

mAnnā€™s utterances always make more sense in the original German.

Did Coultergeist denounce Piyush Jindal as an immigrant when Piyush issued his executive order on marriage equality?

As long as they keep blowing their #1 draft pick on losers nothing else they do will matter. Their scouting department needs fired and replaced. Their bench is weak. The general manager really only cares about their bank account and feeding money to the farm system. The coach hasnā€™t instilled a sense of ā€œteamā€, allowing various superstars to hot dog and play a ā€œme firstā€ brand of ball to the detriment of the final score. This is not a franchise deserving of a devoted fan base. A good season may occur here and there but long term theyā€™re going to be basement dwellers in the standings.

Isnā€™t it pretty to think so.

They have been plenty able to do tons of damage without having someone in the Oval Office. And, eventually, they will win that - maybe sooner than you think.
