I wish I could say I was surprised, but I am not. Polls said Pryor was dead. Conservatives are stupid enough to vote for someone incompetent like Cotton though.

Blanche Lincoln lost in 2002 now Pryor. Just a coupla months ago I thought Pryor would win and we would hold the Senate. Being a TX Dem,I know what it must feel like to be an Arkansas Dem right now.

Well this may have been one of the most “close-watched races,” but it was not considered to be close. Annoying, of course, but no surprise. There is still hope since none of the most contested races have been settled yet.

I know there are good people who by a stroke of bad luck, live in the south, but after tonight, man I’d move if I lived in Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Kentucky, et al. I couldn’t survive.
