What’s the title of Corsi’s book, ā€œBarrel Timeā€?

You may be onto something there. He can rewrite the book every week with new surprise twists and sell a fresh set of copies. Until they take away his laptop.

A rat’s nest. Another rat. My favorite Corsi descriptor; ā€˜A professional liar’

Or his fingers.

Evidence of conspiracy right there.

The mere existence of a Corsi JDA with Trump is a scandal of monumental proportions, especially since there’s one in place with Manafort too. The president is self-identifying as someone whose interests are common with those either convicted or accused by the OSC. He’s self-identifying as a potential criminal defendant. How on earth is this not major news? Who else does he have JDAs with? We have a right to know.

I think it’s a combination of ignorance, complexity, and short news cycles. Ignorance in that I, for instance, had never heard of a JDA until I learned of Michael Cohen’s. Try explaining a JDA verbally to joe sixpack in 30 seconds or less. Complexity in that you have to understand attorney client privilege and its limitations, and JDAs themselves seem to be something of a grey area of undefined boundaries. Now do this on the teebees between commercials without making too many viewers change the channel.

The JDA story may still be brewing and might have legs.

It’s not news because everyone knows they’re all being … looked at.

And innocent people sometimes enter into JDAs, too, so that per se is not scandalous.

Of course, one problem in this case is that someone in the JDA has the power to end the investigation by, for example, pardoning all its subjects and targets!

Yeah, that’s what I am thinking too. There can’t be a separate secret agreement between defendants that is secret from the prosecution. It would be revealed as a result of filings to reveal things like that.

Obstruction 101

I’m thinking double-secret JDA, where the jDA is secret from one (or both) of the defendants.

O ok.

Um, it ain’t a secret if you’re putting it in your book. Why reveal this? (Don’t tell me it’s cause he’s an idiot.)

Did Corsi consider the optics of such an agreement, when he wrote his e-book ?

(OT: Are e-books kept at the Library of Congress - or are they as fungible as the internet?)

And, btw, the idea with a secret agreement, is that you don’t reveal it in a e-book, because then it is no longer secret !

ā€œHave you run out of those nice, shiny pardons?ā€

because the truth has always been sssoooo important to Jerome.

My thought exactly. Conspiracy Against the US is pretty broad.

Lawyers?

If you’re asking whether courts have recognized JDAs that are verbal only, the answer is yes.
