Discussion: Corker: 'There Has Been A Clampdown' By Admin On Intelligence Regarding Khashoggi

I don’t think the administration can allow this to squirrel around too much longer

In this case, I think ā€œmonkey this upā€ would be entirely appropriate.

Corker added, referring to the Saudis potentially having murdered Khashoggi: ā€œI don’t think the administration can allow this to squirrel around too much longer without taking a definitive position.ā€
Boy I am gonna get my hopes up again
Oh never mind talk tough then cave Corker

ā€œMuch longerā€¦ā€

No of course not. In fact, I think they can squirrel it away for exactly 19 more days. Twenty - tops.

Just long enough.

The chance that Fat Nixon knew in advance and green-lighted the killing just went up from 97% to 99.9%.

Squirrel!

I was just about to quote that too.

That would be the same Administration that clamped down on the FBI investigation of Kavanaugh which Corker was A OK with. When is Corker going to be gone?

Yeah, like Bob Corker is gonna save us. What next, Jeff Flake and Susan Collins wagging their fingers at Donald?

Corker is head of the senate foreign relations committee. The global magnitsy act referral could not happen without his approval.

tRump and his henchmen are doing their usual ham-fisted cover-up. And it won’t work here, either.

This horse has not only left the barn, it’s run down the hill, across the river and round the bend.

It’s already happened. The Magnitsky Act gives Trump 120 days to impose sanctions on Saudi Arabia.

Despite that, Ole Shorty Corker will bluster a bit more and then do nothing to oppose Trump.
I’ve known him for dog’s years, and he has no real moral center.

Corker should STFU because we all know he’s all hat and no cattle. He’ll fold like a cheap tent at the first sign of der Fuhrer pushing back on him.

And as to anyone in this criminal administration that’s breaking the law to help Trump and his parasite family make money here…they all need to pay the steepest price possible. Prison and more for these traitors.

ā€œCorker told Politico he received an ā€˜apologetic’ call from an unnamed official after requesting intelligence materials on Tuesday. The official ā€˜informed him that no more information would be given to members of Congressā€™ā€¦ā€

I call bull----!

Since when is any agency established and funded by Congress not accountable…to Congress?!

Especially an intelligence agency questioned by the Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee?

That dog don’t hunt.

Which can only mean that Corker is in on the coverup.

This is outrageous. I doubt there are five senators naive enough to believe this is being done for any legitimate purpose. It’s an obvious coverup and every day they sink deeper into complicity with it.

Meanwhile, as Trump now has come to the daring conclusion that Khashoggi might be dead, events continue to unfold. And not in a pleasant way either.

Trump: Get on it, John. Chop chop.

Nooo, there’s nothing suspicious going on here. No. Nothing at all…

ā€œTrump isn’t being played or conned by the Saudis. Trump is very much in on the con. The House of Trump and the House of Saud are collaborators in the cover-up.ā€

Shall we start a pool on when the saudis’ turkish consul meets an untimely end? Maybe he’ll defect.
