If not Peyton Manning, then HeHateMe can be moved into the state in time to qualify. Perfect for Tennessee, but the GOP has other positions to fill.

“If he were to run nobody in their right mind would consider running against him,” Corker told Politico, saying he had spoken with Manning Wednesday morning.

there are a lot of Bannonites that are thinking about running and they wouldn’t be above running a Tom Brady ad to mock him.

“Peyton Manning is the kind of guy that would be great in public office. … I think it’s possible. Is it likely? I don’t think so,” Corker said. “If he got a huge rush of public inquiries it would probably push him away.”

Well, then, is that why you´re floating the idea, Corker?

He better hope that Charles Woodson doesn’t run against him.

Great. More amateurs.

My guess is when Payton gets over the flattery, he’s come to his senses. He likes being liked too much.

So he’s saying that only Republicans would consider running against him?

well the modern day ones would jump at a chance to go against him.

Manning has all the right qualifications for a GOP Senator. He loves money.

What does it matter? He just has to vote in which ever direction the Koch Brothers, Adelson, Mercers, etc., point him.

How should I parse this? Does he excessively enjoy being admired? Or, does he enjoy being excessively admired?

Manning sounds like a great guy. A senator? Hmm, how’d that work out for Jim Bunning? And Bunning didn’t get hit in the head so many times.

He seemed to be really uncomfortable with the press scrutiny when reports around his use of pain killers were raising questions. I imagine that would spook him from walking into that kind of scrutiny all of the time.

Peyton Manning is a fascist asshole. Seriously.

The big question is: Did Manning have enough concussions to make him a proper intellectual fit with the GOP?

THAT is why NFL ratings are down. I am extrapolating from myself, but I can’t bear to think how these men are injuring themselves every time they play.

I feel sure Peyton called up Sen Bob this morning to say, Thanks for nothing, asshole.

The donors own the GOP, anyway. Might as well give the people some bread and circus.

Nah:

It looks like Peyton Manning is finally getting bored from retirement – other than of course appearing in his countless TV commercials.

The two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback is set to speak Thursday night at the annual GOP retreat in Philadelphia as the party maps out its yearly agenda.

Manning is a long-time Republican donor. According to the Federal Election Commission, he has given $17,900 to GOP candidates since 2004.

Fellow Tennessee native Sen. Bob Corker will introduce Manning. Both President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are set to attend.
