Guys like Corker have no problem with fucking over the country, they just want to do it on their terms…
Think of it as Bill Cosby feeling a bit of guilt such that he always keeps a bottle of KY right by the 'luudes…

So why don’t you, Flake and one more caucus with the Democrats for the rest of your terms?
Walk your talk…do it for America.
One thing I’ve been fascinated to learn from the latest round of fuckery is the limits of the Koch brother’s power in the face of this cowardice. Whatever else one says about them, they’ve been clear in calling bullshit on Trump’s protectionism and saying they’ll spend accordingly. For most of these congress critters, fear of upsetting Trump and “the base” seems to run higher than their fear of losing a major donor. Wasn’t sure that was possible, but there it is…
When has that idiot ever stood up to the fuckin’ moron, other than a pretty speech on the floor and occasional blah-blahs on camera?
Corker, you little twerp -
Either campaign for Bredesen, cross the bleeping aisle, or STFU!
(fact is, U still dream of being president with this mob, dont’cha?)
Sounds like you’ve found yourself some great weed there, dude!
The RNC denied Corker’s accusation of the GOP being a “cult”, and issued the following statement:
“Let the name of Corker be stricken from every book and tablet. Stricken from every pylon and obelisk of Egypt. Let the name of Corker be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of man, for all time.”
(Apologies to Cecil B. DeMille)
Dr. Frankenstein had the same issue with his monster…
But to stand up to him they would first have to disagree with him. Therein lies the problem.
Read Lifton… that is a very close approximation of one of his key factors that identifies cults.
Sadly, Corker is still thinking of the “party” instead of the country. Until he’s willing to put the interests of the United States ahead of those of the Republican Party, he should just get off the pot.
That donor money might fail to make up the difference if Trump gets mad at you and tells the flying monkeys you don’t deserve their support. He’s not sane enough to accept that in a given district he could be a liability. It’s personal every time for him. He’ll lose both houses before he’ll let anyone slide, ever.
From your fingertips…
Yikes. I had a brain fart. Thanks for setting me straight.
This becomes news only when a Republican running for reelection say this.
Precisely. As I said elsewhere today, this is a drug addiction problem. The high of getting what you want tastes so sweet, feels so good that the distasteful, fascist shit you have to do to get it is quickly written off as worth it, while the shame of having done it melts on the spoon.
Let us hope none do cause that increases their chances in the general. I hope they all stick to him like burrs so they all go down.
Huh—new name for me, thanks. But what I’m saying is you can distinguish between the base and the politicians. Some of the latter may be cultlike in their beliefs, but in Congress I think most are totally cynical and cowardly, and not true believers at all. They’ll absolutely trash Trump without attribution, and assure a reporter that most feel the same. On the record, it’s a different story.
Says the guy who approved Gorsuch and every appointee Trump wanted.
Fuck off.
