That camera must have looked like fucking bazooka.
“Based on our viewing of the footage, the officers had no choice but to respond in the way they did,” Schmaderer said.

Don’t take it personally Chief Schmaderer, but I don’t believe you and unfortunately there’s plenty of evidence to the contrary all across the country. Unless the officer’s life was in immediate danger, there were other choices.
Don’t make me post the lyrics to “Police Truck” two days in a row.

Go to the World Herald article and look at the picture.
The cops must have had a fully automatic weapon to get that bullet pattern.
The cops feel it was justified, why? Is it because they also killed the black guy with the fake gun?
Ratings Bonanza.
oops
collateral damage…
Oh, why couldn’t it have been the cast and crew of Barney and Friends?
Sad,but so true and unfortunate.
Fucking cowboys.
And what’s the point of this show, anyway? Entertainment, and pro-cop propaganda. Why is that worth endangering people’s lives? And does having a camera around improve cop performance, or do they play into the drama?
Do we need to start paying police much better and demanding higher professional standards? I keep hearing about how it’s cool for cops to start spraying fire because they are afraid. I kind of think that’s BS. The nature of the job means entering dangerous situations. Sorry, but that’s the reality. I’m more than happy to pay them well, attract more professional brighter people to the job, but we can’t keep saying the officer’s safety is the first priority, so fire at will.
And do we need better marksmanship training? These guys are not firing tight controlled bursts or even groupings. They seem to be just emptying their magazines in the general direction of whatever it is they are afraid of. I thought they were taught to double tap at the center of mass, but every shooting I see nowadays seems to be 11+ shots just sprayed all over the place. The two old ladies delivering papers in LA during the Dornor manhunt is a great example. You can’t look at the pictures of that shooting and think that was the work of trained shooters.
This show is absolute garbage. Poor guy had to die for this.
Take a look at the line of impact points. They are in a very even horizontal line. They are fairly evenly spaced which led me to consider this coming from a weapon firing full auto.
The initial report is that at least 32 shots were fired, all from the police.
What’s next, fragmentation grenades?
Please. That window looks like it was shot up by a nine-year old girl.

What’s wrong with you people? We are talking about protecting a Wendy’s, this is the homeland. If that Wendy’s fell, the country would follow. An innocent life is nothing compared to the price of a cheap burger.
There is no reason for cops to have lethal weapons, they have rubber bullets and tasers and tranquilizer guns et al. The police have forgotten what the word police means.
Two people dead because of a toy gun.
I’m sure they were using standard issue semi-automatic pistols. That bullet pattern is anything but tight. In fact, it’s the opposite of tight.
