There must be something in the water cops drink. A cop in San Jose CA tweeted this

If you were concerned about protecting the public you would be in favor of making examples of those cops that violate their police departments own rules regarding interacting with the public by, for example, using techniques, such as a choke-hold, forbidden by their departmental rules.

What this policeman is overlooking is that you don’t have to break the law to end up dead at the hands of the police. Case in point: Amadou Diallo. Another case in point: John Crawford, III. A third case in point: Tamir Rice.
No, if you have a dark complexion, that seems to be all that is required to make yourself a target of police violence.
