āI have already told you itās completely unnecessary because we beat her on the issues and continue to.ā
Obviously claiming that you ābeat her on the issuesā proves nothing about whether or not you colluded with a criminal conspiracy, and is unprovable on its face anyway. But what the hell does she mean that they continue to? Is she consciously setting Hillary up as an ongoing antagonist, or unconsciously demonstrating that she, Conway, isnāt capable of moving from campaigning to administration, or what? Bizarre.
Just so much more verbal prestidigitation.
In my mind, her evasiveness points directly to some facts:
-she knew of the contact
-likely authorized it
-got some kind of reply (e-mail, etc.)
-used some of what the campaign got
-now knows the Mueller/FBI team is onto it all
He come on, she built, owned and ran one of the more successful Republiscum media and data analytics firms in recent memory. But now weāre to believe the old Hoganās Heroes Sgt. Shultz reply āI see nothing, I know nothingā.
Come on Kellskank Spinway, weāre on to you! Better: so is Mueller! LOL
Itās very unusual for her to be uncomfortable even a tiny bit.
Interesting.
Anyone remember the ancient of days when conservatives or Republicans used to occasionally actually answer the questions that they were asked?
Back in the days of āprincipled conservativesā like Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich?
HAHAHAHHAHA.
Conway should tell Mueller under penalty of perjury she was unaware of the Cambridge/Wikileaks connections until they were most recently publicized.
Kinda sounds like Conway understands the legal implications of this. Investigation will go on for much longer now that the Trump campaign connection to Wikileaks has been revealed. Note that we have this link into Wikileaks from Parscale and Cambridge Analytica. We also have the Roger Stone link to Wikileaks. We have a third link: Trump himself - who celebrated Wikileaks on the trail and begged the Russians to hack HRC with the expectation that those emails would be released (implication is that Wikileaks would likely be a release point). We also have a fourth link - Peter Smith. Now this 4th link seems the creepiest of them all because it involved dangerous Russian hackers (as described by Matt Tait, the expert that Smith consulted with and warned him against this activity). Smith said that he was working for the campaign, Flynn directly. He also died under what I would call somewhat mysterious circumstances. I gather that Mueller is investigating those circumstances as well.
So 4 links to Wikileaks tells me one thing: intent to conspire with foreign nationals to obtain campaign assistance. In my mind, this makes it easier to prosecute this crew for Federal Election Campaign Act violations.
If you pay her enough, sheād be comfortable with anything.
Nice to see her squirm, maybe she actually is part human.
Who gives a damn whether sheās comfortable?
Very true.
The Queen of Alternative Facts couldnāt come up with any alternative facts? Iām actually taken aback.
slippery: adjective: 1. (of a surface or object) difficult to hold firmly or stand on because it is smooth, wet, or slimy: 2. (of a person) evasive and unpredictable; not to be relied on: 3. (of a word or concept) elusive in meaning because changing according to oneās point of view:
āStop stop Alisonā¦I am blaming DEMOCRATS for this and you are trying to make it all about US. I am too important to be worried about this stuff or know what I am actually talking aboutā¦ā
No doubt Trump ordered release of Kennedy files in yet another attempt to distract. Like he cares about any of it ā¦
But Trump did not beat Clinton āfair and squareā. She should have at least bern interrupted and told that at the very least that has not been determined yet, which is why there is continuing investigation.
He means Lincoln. The last GOP politician with principles
Honestly? No. I do not remember such a time.
I remember a certain senator who ran for president who used to do a really good job of simulating answering the questions asked. Also, my understanding is that George Romney did that sometimes, but I was a wee lad at the time.
Camerota followed up and asked Conway if she was uncomfortable with Cambridge Analyticaās interaction with Wikileaks.
āAny of that was completely unnecessary, for a very simple reason. We beat Hillary Clinton fairly and squarely,ā Conway replied.
Whether it was ānecessaryā or not has nothing to do with whether it was proper, would make you uncomfortable - then or now that Muellerās on it - or whether it is more evidence of collusion and illegality. I think Ms. Con-way is very uncomfortable and is feeling the heat a bit.
