Here’s what she told Stephanopoulos:

“I spoke with the president last night about this very issue and he wanted me to reemphasize to everyone, including this morning that he has full confidence in his current chief of staff General John Kelly and that he is not actively searching for replacements.”

Yup, In this admin people saying good things about you usually comes within 48 hrs of your departure.

But isn’t there some sort of suicide pact out there? Or is that just among cabinet members?

But Trump won’t fire him. He’s too much of a coward. He’ll wait until he’s got his replacement lined up and make him do it.

Conway again:

“Why would someone like me and other women work there?”

They’re changing the locks as we speak.

Looks like Kelley has a family he wants to spend more time with.

The problem with this is, that we have become inured to all of the scandals that would have been major developments in a democratic administration.

When Trump says he has “full confidence” in someone it’s assumed that that person is on the way out. This is a problem, This is not normal.

This is the Up is Down administration, whatever they say, assume the opposite. This sucks, it really, really sucks. **I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK.

It looked better back in the day…

It is a problem, but no permanent damage has been inflicted. Standards will go right back up again, and you know when.

Good bye, John. It was nice knowing you.

OK, not really but we’re supposed to use such pleasantries at times like these.

I’m assuming you mean when a Democratic president wears a tan suit.

Credible source, the coiner of the term “alternative facts”, and herroine of the Bowling Green massacre.

It is so irritating that tv shows still bring her on.

I hope you’re right. But the standards will not rise instantly, nor is improvement automatic. It depends on getting the right people in, and then on hard work.

not really close to being on topic - but interesting remembrance by Woodward and Bernstien in the WaPo:

The problem for Trump is fewer and fewer people are willing to sail on this Titanic.

If you mean the country in general I think of it as people mostly having made up their minds. Once that’s done, as long as the pattern holds, there’s no sense running in circles at every instance of its being repeated. Most of the country knows this administration is off-the-charts crooked and incompetent. But you have to get through your day. People are itching to vote them out but that’s months from now. They’re more like hunkered down, waiting for the chance to act effectively, if you ask me.

I understand they’ve waived the single supplement on selected staterooms.
