Gang, I understand the frustration when the administration spokesperson lies and lies and lies. But the reason they’re brought back is simple—if you do a negative story about someone, you must give them a chance to respond. It’s simple professional ethics. It’s not false equivalence, or the wrong sort of balance, or anything like that. Those things happen, but that’s not what this is. As it happens, Kellyanne is often chosen to respond. And she always lies and spins outrageously. But that’s the person they sent. Obviously they abuse the privilege of responding, but it has to be extended.
