Traficant was not complex – he was simple. A dishonest man, who blustered and lied his way into Congress, and stupidly was caught. Others have no problem getting LEGAL bribes, but he overtly urged others to bribe him, to do work for him on is boat and farm. Hubris, I suppose.
His hair is gone, but Trey Gowdy carries on the tradition.
