I think it’s more depressing than surprising. The national spotlight has embarrassed away some financial support (for the time being), but it wasn’t as if his ideas were a secret to his constituents. He’s still not out of it, and he should be polling somewhere in the realm of that other Nazi in Chicago.

Nothing like it. Wingnuts like to believe that they are the only manly people that know about guns. I personally know a lot about guns, it’s just that a) I am not afraid, b) I am peace with my genital inadequacies , c) guns and cammo pants do not arouse me and d) There are other better things to spend my money like fancy beer and cheese.
The Kochs, the Mercers, addelson and Thiel are all very pro-gun because the wingnut militias they either control them or are easily manipulable by them. A parade of Black Panthers will convince them that the AR15s and the AKMs have no use in a civil society.
