Discussion: Conservatives Seethe As House Passes Debt Deal Trump Struck With Dems

That’s all the GOP is good for anymore = whining. They all whine like a bunch of kindergarteners who were just told that it’s nap time.

The Freedom Cuckus should be shoved completely off the sidelines and back into the locker room … their vision is so limited, I’m surprised they can find their way to the floor of the House.

“Things are different when you actually have to govern!” Mulvaney said flipping them off as he left the room.

“Intellectually insulting”? How about passing the debt ceiling increase because you’ve already spent the money?

Who exactly is being intellectually dishonest here?

Yep, they don’t know what’s good for them or what will make them and the country feel better.

Honestly, such suckage, and they continue the nonsense about that terrible debt ceiling.

Mine’s improved a lot: Don McEachin. My condolences. Work to unseat him.

Rep. Joe Barton was one of four House Republicans from Texas to vote against aid for their own state.

“I’m not a happy camper about this process,” he told reporters, arguing that leaders should not tie difficult votes to hurricane relief aid.

Hahahaha, dude, it’s only a “difficult vote” because you’re making it one. For 99% of your constituents, they couldn’t give an accurate description of what the debt ceiling even is, let alone why you think you should use it as a political pawn for the GOP. But they’ll absolutely know you voted against hurricane relief $$ for your own state!!

Not to mention a sane amount of military spending. Our current spending does not meet that standard.

Joe Barton voted against hurricane aid? That son of a bitch. His district isn’t affected - he’s up by Dallas.

That son of a bitch.

But the entire US economy is exactly the same as my household budget. Oh wait, no it isn’t.

That is generally a good device for deciding what to support.

It wasn’t always the case, although Teddy Roosevelt could get kinda seethy at times. But for cons since Gingrich, seething has become their default response to all kinds of stimuli - good policy, common sense, all that libtard nonsense.

And in some cases, it continues for decades after they die. Where are the folks who can figure out how to tap this exciting new energy source?
